Martin Van Buren, born in 1782, was the first of our Presidents to be born after the establishment of the United States of America. His seven predecessors in the office were all born subjects of the British monarch.

This surely wouldn't change the answer to the trivia question, but there was an interesting article in a recent issue of U.S. News and World Report calrifying that George Washington was the 11th person to hold the title "President of the United States of America." The others served under the articles of federation and held a very different office, but did use the same title. I found that fact interesting, if trivial, and so relate it here not as a correction, but a curiosity.
